Who I am in Christ

I am God’s child -John 1:12
“But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God”

I am Christ’s friend -John 15:15
“No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you”

I have been justified -Romans 5:1
“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”

I am united with the Lord and one with Him in spirit -1 Corinthians 6:17
“But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him”

I have been bought with a price – I belong to God -1 Corinthians 6:20
“For you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”

I am a member of Christ’s body -1 Corinthians 12:27
“Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.”

I am a saint -Ephesians 1:1
“Paul, an Apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God. To the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus.”

I have been adopted as God’s Child Ephesians 1:5
“He predestined us for adoption through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will”

I have direct access to God through the Holy Spirit -Ephesians 2:18
“Through Him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.”

I have been redeemed and forgiven of all my sins -Colossians 1:14
“In whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

I am complete n Christ -Colossians 2:10
“And you have been filled n Him, who is the head of all rule and authority.”

I am free from condemnation -Romans 8:1,2
“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”

I am assured that all things work together for good -Romans 8:28
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.”

I cannot be separated from the love of God -Romans 8:35-39
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, ‘For Your sake we are being killed all the day long: we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.’ No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. I have been established, anointed, and sealed by God -2 Corinthians 1:21,22
“And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put His seal on us and given us His Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.”

I am hidden with Christ in God -Colossians 3:3
“For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God”

I am confident that the good work that God has begun in me will be perfected -Philippians 1:6
“And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ”

I am a citizen of heaven -Philippians 3:20
“But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.”

I have not been given a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind -2 Timothy 1:7
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

I can find grace and mercy in time of need -Hebrews 4:16
“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

I am born of God and the evil one cannot touch me -1 John 5:18
“We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but He who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.”

I am the salt and light of the earth -Matthew 5:13
“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost it’s taste, how shall it’s saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.”

I am a branch of the true vine, a channel of His love -John 15:1,5
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser; I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him, hi it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”

I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit -John 15:16
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give it to you.”

I am a personal witness of Christ’s -Acts 1:8
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witness in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

I am God’s temple -1 Corinthians 3:16
“Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?”

I am a minister of reconciliation -2 Corinthians 5:17-20
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: That is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassador’s for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”

I am God’s co-worker -2 Corinthians 6:1
“Working together with Him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.”

I am seated with Christ in the heavenly realm -Ephesians 2:6
“And raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

I am God’s workmanship -Ephesians 2:10
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepaired beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

I may approach God with freedom and confidence -Ephesians 3:12
“In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in Him.”

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me -Philippians 4:13
“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”
